The Wellness Division is our most unique area of concentration. Our team of professionals are available to assist you with managing your overall nutrition, fitness, disease process, stress levels and more. This is done through a referral based program whereby you are referred to a specialist who fits your need and in most cases, our team of professionals will work directly with you and/or collaborate with you and your provider to help you achieve your goal(s). Our goal is to help create a wellness world of women who can live happier, healthier and better lives; thereby being able to empower other women and girls to do the same. Wellness Area will operate under the direction of Program Director, Monica Price and co-lead by the Program Coordinator, Latticia Thomas.

Women's Heart Health & Diabetes Awareness/Support
This program is designed to have our team of professionals work closely with individuals on knowing the warning signs for Cardiac Arrest, Stroke, and Heart Attack, coupled with knowing the signs of new-onset diabetes. One of the major focus' of this program is to educate women on preventive measures, empower those living with diabetes and heart disease and provide overall support. Women in Wellness/Awareness Preventive Care
& Cancer Support
The organizations ongoing initiative has been organized to foster preventive behaviors for fighting against womens cancer(s) and to bring about awareness. One of the main goals of the intiative to link up survivors with those going through the disease process to encourage and empower them to continue their course with a positive mind and to spread the word on the importance of wellness visits, education, routine screenings and adopting the breast exam practice behavior. Our team of professionals will not only refer individuals to appropriate providers, but walk alongside them for support. This program is designed to offer information regarding heart healthy diets for women to include good nutrition tips, grocery shopping ideas, healthy eating recipes and helpful hints for dining out. Because good nutrition lies at the core of good health, our team of professionals are prepared to not only work with you to achieve your goal, but will also refer you to a provider to assit when needed and assign a Registered Dietician to work closely with you as well. Individuals will be encouraged to consider their lifestyles, energy levels, and caloric intake when developing action plan for success. Because women have different health and fitness needs, our team of professionals will help to devise a plan befitting for each individual. Mental Health, Physical Health and Spiritual Health are relative to overall health; therefore we suggest an individualized fitness program such as yoga, zumba, and other cardiovascular programs, relaxation methods, meditation techniques, spa visits and other possibilities to assist with fitness, mental and spiritual health.
